+1 And, at the same time, so sad that Jon Kyl and those Fox personalities said such stupid things. |

What stupid things would those be, Ax? I mean, I spent a little time reading over that website, and it is a living testimony to the fact that today's liberal is too stupid to know their ass from their hat, so I'm curious to hear just what it is they said that you think is stupid. |

Watch the embedded video on the page the jon-nyc linked to. It shows Jon Kyl making a stupid statement, Jon Kyl's office releasing another stupid statement in attempt to salvage the first stupid statement, and the Fox News crew who made more stupid statements. |

Here's the part you guys are missing. Planned Parenthood has stated that they do not offer pap smears or breast exams either, they simply offer referrals to doctors who do. Same thing can be had at Walgreens. So I'll ask one more time - what stupid things did he say? |

Maybe it's time to inform some of you as to what Planned Parenthood does. 1. Make doctor referrals for pap smears, breast exams, and VD exams. 2. Do abortions. |

Wrong. See http://www.plannedparenthood.org/about-us/who-we-are/planned-parenthood-glance-5552.htm : "Planned Parenthood provides nearly one million Pap tests and more than 830,000 breast exams each year, critical services in detecting cancer." |

Then perhaps you can explain why, when Fox News had a girl call numerous Planned Parenthood offices asking how much they charged for a pap smear, every single one of them told the girl they did not do pap smears, but would refer her to a doctor who would do one for her. You see, that is the information Fox was basing their comments on - the fact that PP says they do, but when called to arrange one, stated they don't. And don't try to tell me that PP didn't tell them that, because I heard several of the phone conversations. |

Citation? May be Fox News lied, may be their agent (the girl) called the wrong places (e.g., calling an "office" vs. calling a "clinic"), may be she's wasn't asking the right question, may be she's asking for services she's not eligible to receive (e.g., certain clinics in certain areas offer pap tests for free during a certain time for women in a certain age range, say women between 40 and 60 years old -- if you call one up and ask for a free pap tests and tell them you're 24 years old, of course they're going to tell you "no"). No. We're laughing at the Fox News crew for stating that women could get pap tests and breast exams at Walgreen. That claim is decidedly false regardless of any assumption about Planned Parenthood made by Fox News. |

So, Larry - are you saying that you believe no planned parenthood clinics offer pap smears and breast exams? Or only the ones that Fox news managed to find that didn't? Because I personally know people who have had these services performed at a planned parenthood clinic. You do realize that not all planned parenthood clinics offer every service, right? (something to do with funding, I imagine). They even say so on their website. "Planned Parenthood health centers around the country offer you the health care you need. Our caring and knowledgeable staff provide a wide range of services. These services vary by location. " |

I know you lefties drink the Huffington Post Koolaid like water, so I know not to put much stock in anything you come up with. I saw the Fox News report, so I went back and looked it up online. As it turns out, Fox News did nothing other than to REPORT the story. The claims made were made by Live Action President Lila Rose, an anti-abortion group having nothing to do with Fox News. Fox properly used "alleged" when stating the claims made, and played the audio/video evidence gathered by Live Action. As usual, you lefties need to stop soaking your brains in leftwing propaganda sites like the Huffington Post and actually take the time to find out the facts. |

I went to one clinic and they offered to do my brakes and tire rotation. I was impressed. (O wait: That might not have been a Planned Parenthood clinic...)

I was in error, it wasn't a Fox News employee who made the calls, but someone connected with Live Action. It was the reporting of a news story. You leftwing fruitcakes get your info from the Huffington Post, resulting in your understanding of things being skewed.

My sorting out of the Left Wing propaganda you guys bought into was an evolving thing.... ![]() No, I am not saying I believe they don't. I have no idea whether they do or they don't. Once all the facts are there, Fox News didn't make the claim that they didn't either, they simply reported the story of an anti-abortion organization making the claim, and showing their evidence to support their claim. One thing for certain - either the audio was doctored (which would be the anti-abortion group doing it, not Fox News) or there is something to the claim being made by the group. My beef has been with the way the Left propagandizes everything. The attack on Fox News over this issue is every bit as stupid as anything coming out of this anti-abortion groups' claims, assuming there is something factually wrong with their claims - something I'm not convinced of one way or the other at this point. |
