If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Back from Fla. Potter world was awesome, Universal Studios surprisingly lame and dated. The Jaws ride is an embarrassment. The Spider Man ride rocked, but that too was in Islands of Adventure, not the original Universal.

That said, by and large I would rather have sharp pencils stuck in my ears than go to a theme park. But the Potter thing was very cool. Universal did an outstanding job recreating that world. They need to expand it, though.

Emeril's was excellent. Best calamari, fantastic house wines by Au Bon Climat. Great gumbo, great because he just made great gumbo rather than trying to gussy it up.

Then down to the Bonita Springs area for a few beach days with great old friends. Lots of sun, shrimp, oceanfront dives and jet skis. Too fun.
