HOLY CARP!!!
|
The Pittsburgh Steelers always have been my #1 team since I started really thinking about football. When I was very young the Cowboys were it but that didn't last long. I think it had to do with the name and nothing else although I remember liking some of the players on the Cowboys team during the late 1960's / early 1970's. Never been a huge sports fan but The Steelers became #1 in my book in the early 70s right after I moved to PA. The Green Bay Packers have always held an upper position on my list of favorites as my uncle Lanny was a huge Green Bay fan and I always liked and respected (with a healthy dose of fear actually) my uncle Lanny. He was a football player, iron worker, and coach. He was very big, physically fit man. When we moved to WI in 1980 I held on to my loyalty to Pittsburgh and have to this day although I always root for my #2 team The Green Bay Packers. I will be rooting for the Steelers to win this evening of course. And then I will proudly wear my Stealer garb and wave my Terrible Towel at the Super Bowl party at my best friend's place who is one of the biggest Packer fans out there. It will be a fun day for sure. Let's get the Steelers there NOW!!!! |

tru dat. That was a pretty painful game to watch. The bears lost that game. I thought the Packers were going to blow it at the end there. |
