They've taken over the big TV.

They're consuming pizza.

They're here all night again.

All I have is my computer.

Would you prefer losing your house to adolescent girls instead?

Hopefully another snowstorm doesn´t roll in. Your reserves are gonna take a big hit tonight!

Yeah, I just looked at some of Dol's photography. My win.

True, about the food. I thought about that before I agreed to this. "Okay, I should be able to feed them."

This was a last-minute plan.

I let them rent anything age-approriate from Netflix. You wouldn't believe what they chose.

What fun. Isn't it great to hear them laughing? They'll talk about this for days afterwards, including the movie. Dumb movies have their place, such as slumber parties.

You're bein' the cool mom again, R2. :)

my house is a mecca for teenage boys. i have a 13 and 16 yr. old and there are often AT LEAST 2 extra boys if not 6 or 8. I'll cook for them and they'll do the dishes before they trash the tv room.

i like them a lot.. they're polite and helpful. i told my kids that if they were to host friends that the friends should offer to do a task.. and they do.

i have a ready list. One kid is like a whole basketball team by himself.. huge appetite.. gargantuan strength. He'll do some pretty impressive stuff. i like him. My 13 yr. old's friend used to live across the street from us. his parents are pretty flaky and i like him being in our house without the cigarette smoke and probably other stuff that he endures in his own.

my daughter, 11 almost always has a friend over too. We like lots of kids around. sometimes we just sit around and visit.

Apple, that's great. Kids need other good households, sometimes to serve as better role models.

Perfect, apple. Love the list idea. They really are willing to help, sometimes more than they would in their own homes, because it's a novelty and they are with their friends. That all makes it more fun for them.

Our apple is a cool mom, too.
