I told him he should NEVER do that again. (like he's going to listen to me...)

This is his helmet cam at winter park ski area, check out the map on the right, pay special attention to the little speedometer.

HOLY CARP!!!
Is that speedometer accurate?
Doesn't look that fast from the helmet camera.
How steep was the slope?

Now that was cool.

I've always wanted to take video while we were striper fishing in the fall. But there's never time or people to do it. Everybody wants to grab a fishing pole, not a camera.

Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments
and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism.

We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.

Yes, the camera speed is accurate. He's taken several from his mountain bike (which has a speedometer on it) and they match up. There is an "optical illusion" when you watch the helmet cam - it doesn't give a good impression of hill steepness because your head is pointed down, and the lens is really wide angle. I noticed that when watching the mountain bike videos in particular - hard to tell if you are going up or down hill.

Holy carp! :hair:
