HOLY CARP!!!
I probably shouldn't be looking at stuff like this on a day when outside I see 3 or 4 cm of snow being turned to a cold messy bone chilling mush with pouring rain.

Droolsville

I think I'd like to start with the Taj Lake Palace in Udaipur

Ooh, hubby has good taste. I´d want to go where there is cheese, too!

I know it's not the Taj pictured above but, I have at least signed up for a Caribbean cruise in March. The winter should be starting to get to me by then. :tiki: :sombrero:

What?! No cheese tour, Vince? Cheddarland is where you want to go. Really.

When I saw the Palace, it seemed a bit run down. Maybe the humidity had something to do with it. Beautiful location though.
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

From Ft Lauderdale, to San Juan, St. Thomas, St Maarten, Home.
This will be my 30th Cruise. So as long as it's warm I'm content to just go where the pointy end of the ship goes.

I'd love to cash in some points for a free stay sometime. It's not a cheap flight, however.
