Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism. We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.

Here's some cost cutting that many of you may not have heard of. JFCOM closure This will have a big impact for the southeastern part of Virginia (Hampton Roads area). This area has a HUGE military presence. But this is what it's going to take to start to get the federal spending under control. Anything like this going on in your state? |

I hope the cutting and slashing happens. I don't even care if they have the right targets in the crosshairs. Just kill the spending. Let's get sanity back and then attack the problems. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

A federal government "do-over" is way past due. We need to eliminate any agency that was enacted after the federal reserve act and 16th amendment then do away with that piece of crap of an amendment as well as the federal reserve. Which is not federal nor does it contain any reserves. |

I've seen them with my own eyes and even held a gold bar in my hand in their underground vault. |

Of course they are enriching their own. Anything they have does not belong to us. So gold is good enough for them but apparently it is not good enough for us? |

+1 But you know why. |

Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool. I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss! - Cecil Lewis

Also missing is the $50B~$100B that Robert Gates and the Obama admin said they'd propose anyway. |
