HOLY CARP!!!
Pretty funny. I liked the shots of the celebs who were conflicted as to whether they should laugh or look offended, and were scanning the rest of the audience to determine the proper response.

How this became political eludes me. Though it is funny to see conservatives support a monologue with profanity and fellatio.
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

Jon: Golden - absolutely hilarious.

To others, make sure you turn down the volume if you're in the office... :)

Good one!

Edit: Good interview Louis CK did with Terry Gross. He even throws in a Micky Ward reference.

Funniest line was the one about airbrushing the Sex In The City II poster...
Better IMO was the follow up about having seen one of them in "Bonanza" - well, funny if in fact it is not true. If true, then it's just cruel.

Looked up Bonanza cast ... no match.
Can potentially be true, though, seeing that Bonanza runs 'til 1973.

Nah, I IMDB'd all 4 women, and none are credited as having appeared on Bonanza.

Okay, maybe I'm missing something, but I assumed the reference to Bonanza was made not just because it is a very old show, but also because Sarah Jessica Parker looks not unlike a horse (Google agrees, incidentally).

Which I thought was cruel, but I laughed anyway.

Lurkalot: That was indeed the joke - well known in Hollywood is that Sarah Jessica Parker looks like a horse (family guy makes this joke routinely with a handful of actresses).
One of my standing jokes is "Why the long face Sarah?" Originally, that joke was David Space doing the Hollywood Minutes on SNL, with a picture of Ric Ocasek in the background ("why the long face Ric?") to which I snorted milk and almost died laughing.

I still think dragging Tom Cruise out of the closet was more funny.
