How cute. Too bad about that barroom brawl she was in last night, but hey, she's young.

May you have many happy years together.

Really good-looking cat.

What a rag doll? What are they like?

From Wiki: The Ragdoll breed has blue eyes and a distinct colorpoint coat. It is a large and muscular semi-longhair cat with a soft and silky coat. Developed by American breeder Ann Baker, it is best known for its docile and placid temperament and affectionate nature. The name "Ragdoll" is derived from the tendency of the cats to go limp and relaxed when picked up because they have a layer of fat under their skin.

What a night. I couldn't find her when I went to bed, looked everywhere. I left two night lights on for her. lol. An hour later I wake up to this little meow in the bedroom. I think she was under the bed. I talk to her, then she is at the front of the bed trying to crawl up. She moved sideways a bit and jumped up. She was squashed between the bed and the bed table. It was so funny. These two little paws and a nose and ears were looking at me. I got her out and she played for 6 hours. It was like trying to hold onto a greased pig. She was purring all the time. She wouldn't leave the bed table alone, knocking everything on the floor. There was a big bang and the phone and radio were on the floor. Then she went after the lamp.

It's 1:30pm here and she is still not up. I've been out to buy her food.

She's a happy camper now! Sounds like she was on a big explore and got stuck.

She sounds like our Etta. Anything on a table or other flat surface should be pushed to the floor, and will be, if Etta is around.

Found her in the bedroom closet. She came out and looked at me, flew back in the closet, then came out again to look at me and flew back in.

Daughter #3 (Sophie, of bunneh fame) adopted a cat - Meech - that was abused. Though declawed, she's still aggressive as hell. It's taken Sophie more than a year to tame her down. Now, Sophie can approach her and not get swatted at - most of the time.

Me? No way, Jose.

She wont eat out of a bowl but she will eat off the floor. The vet receptionist said to try a plate. So I put down a plate of kibble. She pushed the kibble onto the floor and ate it. hahaha

hey, I've got a cat that prefers his liquid refreshments from the toilet. I'd take cat kibble on the floor any day. :hat:

Lily has been in HEAT for the last week. The vet couldn't schedule spaying her until we knew the status of her shots. Her previous owner wouldn't respond so the vet gave her all the shots. She's scheduled to be spayed in Feb. The vet's office staff were in stitches when I called. They could her her howling in the background. It sounds like a motor that won't turn off.

Beautiful (and fun!) kitty. We had a stray once and shortly after we got it she went into heat. They went ahead with the spaying and I swear she gave us the dirtiest looks for a week.
