Today is turkey soup day here. Since my current little one burner hotplate wouldn't quite do the job, I got out the electric roaster. It takes up most of my 4 foot section of counter top that is my biggest work area, but hey, what'cha gonna do?

So the turkey, broth (turkey and chicken broth), onions, scallions, carrots, celery, and spices are simmering right now. Hubby wants dumplings with this tonight. He put in his request yesterday. I've used his grandma's recipe before, and it's pretty good, but I'm interested to try another one today. We like it both plain or with herbs, and I'm thinking it would be good with some herbs tonight.

Oh my. The house smells divine. :woot:

Do you like your dumplings plain or with herbs or chives or something?
Got a recipe suggestion to share?
