It seems to me that it's misleading to say 'Europe'. Britain and Germany don't necessarily have much in common with France as far as work ethic goes. It also appears that the UK Conservative-Liberal coalition appear to be ahead of the US in waking up to the fact that really painful public spending cuts are necessary. |
