HOLY CARP!!!
Funny, but wildly inaccurate. Confusing TARP and ARRA is a blunder too gross to ignore.
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

Yeah, I noticed that too. But the tea partiers and some of our favorite posters here are famous for thinking TARP was an Obama initiative. Had he said 'Tarp' instead of stimulus, it woul have been spot on.

Funny at first, but kept going downhill in terms of inaccurate portrayals on both sides. I agree with the tea party movement's general agenda of less spending and smaller government. Those other watercooler issues I'm sure vary quite a bit within the tea party movement, despite the broad brush that was used in this video. That being said, each year I support the libertarian platform more and more...and will likely be voting that way in 2012, depending on the candidates of course. Ok, sorry to be a joykill....funny video :P

I think this video confuses "Tea Partiers" with "Teabaggers".

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

It also confuses "Libertarian" with "Liberal".

JBryan: That was my take as well for the most part - Tea Partier was confused with Evangelical Right, and Libertarian was confused with Liberal.

It was funny - for sure. It just clearly wasn't written by a Libertarian - they tend to be educated a little better about things... like, oh, I don't know - the difference between the Stimulus Package, and TARP.

Why the hell do they call those miserable organisations 'parties'? 'Party' implies jelly and cake and snogging on the stairs and cheap alcohol.

OK, admittedly 'tea party' tends to imply chimpanzees and mad hatters, but nevertheless, I wish they'd call all political scam-groups something different.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

Being a party really helps out on membership drives.

That was my take, too. Mark refused to address that.

Just sayin'...
