i wonder how one would change that back tire?.. i guess the frame would snap on/off. i also would not like my face to be so close to the front of the bike.. just a little distance between me and impact would help.

One of hubby's bikes has few spokes; I look at his cycling magazines too - Is it to reduce drag or help stability?
