Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

This is the Ground Zero *Islamic* Center you're talking of , right?
Choice 1 .
I've stated my thoughts before. I was kind of vocal.
For them to build anything religious in the vicinity is like climbing a mountain in victory and shoving their flag pole in the ground.
IOWs, this act reeks of total disrespect.

Bingo.
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Exactly.

The Cordoba Initiative is either thumbing their noses at America or they are politically stupid. I think it is the former.
The dogma lives loudly within me.

I'm an option 4 guy. You can't legislate sensitivity.

OTOH, I would investigate every red cent that goes into the construction of the place. Who paid it, where it came from, every cent they give to other organizations, what people and organizations they have connections with, etc...
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

And it's not illegal for them to do so.
