This literally ticks me off; ...well, not literally

This is a compilation video of Rachel Zoe from 'The Rachel Zoe Project' using the word "literally" over and over, often incorrectly. And no, I don't know who Rachel Zoe is, nor have I seen her show, but I saw this video online and thought I'd share.

As I've mentioned in the past, it drives me nuts when someone misuses the word "literally". It's a powerful word when used correctly, but is far too often used to emphasize something that isn't literal!

So this video literally drove me crazy. Enjoy!

ZOOOOOM!
She literally makes me want to punch her in the throat.

And sadly, the first thing that came to mind was, "she sounds like my co-workers."

Like literally.

HOLY CARP!!!
I can't see the video, but that's fine with me! I can't stand that word being used in stupid ways. Why? When did that stupid fad catch on? It needs to die.
And how are you today?

Actually?
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Actually?
Yeah, that one too.

I also don't like this way of speaking? When the inflection at the end is like a question? As if to reconfirm at the end of every ****ing sentence that I'm still capable of following your boring ass, irrelevant story? And then the inflection drop at the end to signify that you're done wasting my time.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

:spit:

That habit also needs to stop. 2 things come to mind with your mentioning that:
1. Family Guy - Brian dates Gillian (is that her name?), the idiot.
2. Dumb girls speaking
And how are you today?

I also hate air-headed mispronunciations. It's not "thinks," you stupid ****, it's "thanks" and you're not clever by saying it sarcastically, it proves you don't have the balls to say what you mean! "Go **** yourself!" See, it's easy! Be honest about your communication!

And I still have no idea just precisely what the sh!t "I know, right?" is supposed to mean.
