HOLY CARP!!!
:excited:

My brother in law Matt stopped by at 8:15am. We packed up the bikes and headed for the Stone Bridge Trail.

Rode to the end of the trail. It was only 19.7 miles so we continued up a hill on the road another .4 miles before turning around.

Stopped at a little corner store in Poplar Grove, IL and bought a Gatorade. Filled the water bottle with the Gatorade and road all the way back up.

Conversation was happening the entire ride, we stopped a couple of times to drink some water and to "just get off the saddle!" lol and we still averaged 12.2 MPH.

3 hours, 17 minutes on the trail. 2,420 calories burned!

ZOOOOOM!
See? I told ya man, you're gonna be at 100 miles before you know it.

Not only is your body getting used to the exercise, which means you can go farther, it's getting used to the calorie burning, too. Losing weight is just going to come naturally, if it hasn't already. Way to go, man. :thumb:

Well that just sounds like fun. :thumb:

I just got back from a big hike with my family through some dense woods. Being active feels good and is its own reward.
