Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

I couldn't understand a word - it was in Chinese, or something.
Unless I was mistaken, Steve Jobs wasn't shown in a positive light, though.

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D

Yes, Mandarin.

I liked the innovative solution to the antenna problem. However, if you are a pianist the iPhone4 is not for you if this is the only solution.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore.

I think that really depends upon which side of the Galactic Empire/Rebel Alliance and Turtle Neck/Regular clothing Great Debates you find yourself.

As Bill Gates famously said, 'If you strike me down, I shall return more powerful than you can possibly imagine'. At the time it was rumoured that he was referring to the imminent replacement of MS-DOS with Windows 3.1.1., which is a rather sad reflection on the imaginative abilities of the Microsoft Corporation and the IT community in general. I suspect the same can be said regarding the replacement of those big Bakelite telephones with the clickety-clickety dialers by the iPhone. At least the clickety-clickety dialers didn't stop working when touched.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?
