1. U2: $130m
2. AC/DC: $114m
3. Beyonce Knowles: $87m
4. Bruce Springsteen: $70m
5. Britney Spears: $64m
6. Jay-Z: $63m
7. Lady Gaga: $62m
8. Madonna: $58m
9. Kenny Chesney: $50m
10. Black Eyed Peas/Coldplay: $48m

Apart from their success, these people have something else in common - I own nothing by any of them.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

I have everything from U2 pre-Achtung Baby, and a smattering of Springsteen songs. Other than that I'm right there with you.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

I'm amazed that AC/DC are still going strong. I remember people going to see them back in about 1978, and they were a bit of a dated novelty act even then, at least as far as us young groovy cats were concerned. I guess it shows that plugging away at what you do well and putting on a great show really can work.

I never understood their appeal. They're about as shallow and uninteresting as that other one on the list, the musical equivalent of a poop joke.

But Hayseed Dixie, on the other hand, I find hilarious. ^_^

Most people have looked up Madonna at some point in their lives.

As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?

I own "Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap," by AC/DC, and "Thunder Road," by Springsteen. $0.99 on my iPod. I guess it adds up.
Random FML: Today, I was fired by my boss in front of my coworkers. It would have been nice if I could have left the building before they started celebrating. FML

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D
