If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead

About Mitch Daniels: Mitchell E. Daniels, Jr. was elected as the 49th Governor of Indiana in 2004. He came from a successful career in business and government, holding top management positions at the Hudson Institute and Eli Lilly and Company, and served as Chief of Staff to Senator Richard Lugar, Senior Advisor to President Ronald Reagan and Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush. During his tenure as governor, Daniels has made restoring the state’s fiscal integrity and job creation his top priorities. The state has seen record job growth and investment, experienced its first honestly balanced budget in eight years and remains the only state in the nation with a funded infrastructure plan, all without raising taxes. Daniels was re-elected in 2008 and received more votes than any candidate for public office in the state’s history. He and his wife Cheri have four daughters. |

"Director of the Office of Management and Budget under President George W. Bush" Why is that good? During GWB terms, his administration turned a $400B+ surplus into a $1T+ deficit. Why should we trust his "Director of the Office of Management and Budget"? |

That begs an interesting question. Who was the last President's son to live in the WH (beside's GW)? Does it go all the way back to Kennedy? |

Reagan did, but he was an adult. Actually, Carter and Ford did too. But they were all adults as well. |

Adult sons, but none of an age that they would have lived in the WH. |

Didn't Ford have a couple of boys that were 16-17 when he moved into the Whte House? I think one of them became an actor on General Hospital or something. |

"Any man who would make an X rated movie should be forced to take his daughter to see it". - John Wayne There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it". Henry II: I marvel at you after all these years. Still like a democratic drawbridge: going down for everybody. Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore. From The Lion in Winter. | |
