Hey apple

Saw the pic of your kitchen, and it looks terrific! The long breakfast bar will be a hit with the kiddos!

Post more pics of that and the whole new house project when you can. I'm enjoying seeing the progress.

We have revamped our kitchen project to include a new entry to the house that will serve as a mudroom, a new (in the original 1900 location) entry porch, a storage pantry, a restoration/renovation of the butler's pantry, and a new kitchen. The kitchen will actually be an addition to the house, and amazingly, this is less expensive than our smaller plan. It should save about $20,000 or more. It's out for final bids at this time. Yes, you will have your whole house done before I get my new kitchen. :lol2:

thanks Brenda. I might take some pictures today. I AM HAVING THE PIANO AND ORGAN MOVED AT 8.30 am. The breakfast bar is still not done. the lights we've installed are all over the place in decorative themes, and the new grading / bulldozing presents some opportunities for an awesome terraced vegetable garden. I guess WE will probably sleep there late next week.

the bathroom fixtures and kitchen countertops are coming on Wednesday.
