Random FML: Today, I was fired by my boss in front of my coworkers. It would have been nice if I could have left the building before they started celebrating. FML The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D | |

Good call Britain. From the Guardian "A British diplomat in Washington said : "We understand the frustration of the Iroquois team but before we can issue visitors with visas to come to the UK we need to be certain they will be allowed back into their countries when they return home. "I am afraid the US government does not recognise these passports as legitimate travel documents that would allow re-entry." ~ http://m.guardian.co.uk/?id=102202&story=http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2010/jul/13/iroquois-lacrosse-passport-world-cup |

Simultaneously embarassing the US government over the way it treats its indigenous people, and preventing one of the stronger teams from competing! A win-win for England! |
