If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
|
No, but I could very easily see an app for that on a larger iPad type device.. one that recognizes the notes and turns the page for you. That would rock. Not to mention saving scads of space that is now devoted to sheet music. |

Looks nice! At $200, it's not cheap, and it's a one-trick-pony. An iPad (even at $500) would do a lot more, of course, and would not require surrendering the music desk of the piano. Damn. Now you made me think about it... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mBNQhfCAdCw Edited by George K, Jun 27 2010, 06:12 AM.

If you want the real low-down on AirTurn, talk to Rich Galassini, or better yet, Hugh Sung(he's one of the founders of AirTurn). |

Does Rich Galassini work / own Cunningham's in Philly, BTW? I will be in Philly in August and will have some time to kill by myself. I thought I could check out his place. Anyone?? Sorry for the side track. |

What Jon said. Rich is one of the nicest guys in the piano business, and he runs a first-class operation. |

R2, aside from having a lot of pianos in the store, the rebuilding operation is very interesting. Rich is most hospitable. I visited him once unannounced when I found myself with free time after a business meeting in Philadelphia and he showed me around. He also hosted (along with another forum member) an event for members of another piano forum that I attended last Memorial Day weekend. A great time was had by all. A visit to Cunningham's is highly recommended. Big Al |
