HOLY CARP!!!
I was dinking around on Amazon downloading some music into the iPod, and came across a song by the Zombies I'd not heard of. I like "She's not there" and "Time of the Season" well enough, but they are about the only songs you'll ever catch on the 60's station. So I gave the song a listen. Nice clean melodies and harmonies, great voices, clever songwriting and lyrics. I listened to all of the tracks on their album The Odessey and the Oracle. I ended up buying the entire album. I recommend it to anyone who enjoys trippy music from the late 60's. I was surprised that more of these songs didn't become hits. Several of these songs sound to me like they could have just come out today. The story of the band is quite interesting as well - they disbanded before this album came out and before "Time of the Season" was a surprise hit in the U.S.
