This artist runs email spam through a computer program to create 3D modelling gestures. Pretty neat stuff.

Cool stuff -- I think his musical extrusions http://sq.ro/extrusions.php are much more interesting though...

But... but... I once reviewed a prospective employee's portfolio, and that very image was a theoretical "Corn Research Facility" that she did while a student at Ohio State...

Actually, it does resemble one of those projects I reviewed once. The "CRF" was a perennial project for OSU undergrads; I saw so many of them when interviewing I thought I'd puke if I saw another one. The one who did the project that this picture reminded me of, got the job. She was a favorite employee for a long time. She did a stint as an intern with the noted architect Zaha Hadid, and even though she's been gone a number of years, she's still someone I'm glad I was able to give a start to. Actually, I just had lunch with her last week - she's mulling over the idea of taking the plunge and hanging out her own shingle. Oh well, I digress...

Really cool idea! ^_^

Well, regarding the thread's title - I see that Stanley Tigerman's "Daisy House" is up for sale at the moment. I think the MLS listing should receive a creative writing award for extolling its "whimsical" design.

Was it Boullee or LeDoux who had that curiously shaped boy's school?
