I can't believe I'm going to say this.

I'm really glad she did the Maxim spread. I didn't check out the other link. I love, love, love Danica McKellar. Her math books are brilliant, and I love that she took the route she did and is working at helping girls see math as cool. There's no denying that she's stunning and spread-worthy as well, so my hope is that my Maxim-sneaking middle school boys will see her looking all drool worthy in her underwear, then see the math books she's done, and it'll connect the "math is cool" dots for them, too.

She's awesome.

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D

Cool. I'd not heard of her, no idea who she is. But I take your recommendation of her math books seriously, so thanks.

I totally bought and spread the misunderstanding that Danica McKellar was the now grown up Danica Patrick, the race car driver. I'm glad I was wrong - both are beautiful and accomplished.

THe word "spread" seems to predominate this thread.
