HOLY CARP!!!
The amendment to audit the Fed passed the Senate 96-0.

I wish they would expand the audit to the whole federal government and all levels of state and local governments.

It'll be very interesting to see what comes out of this. Politically, I mean.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Smoke & mirrors.

A one time audit?

WTF?

The movement to audit the Fed originated with Ron Paul who introduced the original bill which did not have a limit of a one-time audit.

No mention of him at all in that article.

Our government and our media are foul. Bought and paid for it seems.

A one-time audit isn't that bad an idea - the necessity for follow-ups could, and probably should, depend on the findings - audits aren't cheap.

Hmmm ... that's a good point.

How much money would you appropriate to audit the Fed?

Sure. How much money do you think they should print to pay for the audit?

Folks at the Fed don't get bonuses.

But they have a really sweet executive dining room. I've heard the pool's pretty nice too, but I've never seen it.

What a scam. The Senate voted 96-0 for a one time audit after voting down 37-62 the plan to establish a regular audit process. Let's them look they they care when they don't.
