they started sheetrocking yesterday. I took this photo because the corner which you see in the middle, is where my piano will go.

Good location.
The corner will reinforce the bass, and the sound can travel a great distance before hitting a wall. :thumb:
Also, I like that the ceiling gets higher further from the piano.

Not that you asked, but I recommend angling the piano so the hinge side is not against either wall of that corner but rather at an equal angle to both walls.
Then experiment moving it and changing the angle and listening to the sound.
Try each position for a week to see if there is a sweet spot.

Many of us do not have the luxury of moving our pianos around like you do.

Also, it's probably too late but sound is usually better when walls are not parallel since standing waves are reduced.

House is starting to come together nicely it looks like. Just make sure that they are not using that Chinese sheet rock with all the problems.

heh.. it's too late. definitely

we should have asked you Kenny.. Actually the sound will flow out to a large complex open area.. it should be fantastic acoustically. just like an opera hall. it don't think we can angle it because of traffic. I live with boisterous boys and tumbling girl.

Set up one of those livestock electric fences around the piano.

it's actually in a low traffic area. I'll be the only one walking around that corner.

How terrific to be rockin' and rollin', apple!! It's going to be wonderful.
