And the Jacksonville Crusaders article led me to this. The website both articles came from - Religion Dispatches - looks really interesting. Anyway, the article is about a new graphic novel, aka comic book by an American woman and the time she spent in Egypt. Sounds like it's gaining a fair amount of notoriety.

Probably not. It's against the law in Egypt. I wonder if civilized western societies will ever get around to do passing laws against male circumcision.
