Is it worth the time to watch? |

Since we're talking about movies, recently saw Bad Lieutenant (the one with Nick Cage) and The Book of Eli. Both weren't too bad I guess. Bad Lieutenant was a little weird at parts but still pretty good. Book of Eli was pretty much entirely predictable until the very end, and even that was just in the details. |

I've really wanted to go to the cinema lately, but we haven't seen anything good playing. Bring on the summer movies! |

I thought District 9 was very, very well made. It was shot in an original fashion and its character development was quite well done. The whole concept is very thought provoking. That said, I found some of it very hard to handle. But I'm a movie wimp. I get grossed out easily, especially by medical things. . . |

Watched Law Abiding Citizen last night - very good movie! Keeps you guessing/predicting the whole time, and extremely graphic at times (unexpected) but overall a very good movie to netflix. |

I thoroughly enjoyed District 9, as did my father in law. Rest of the family hated it. I just went to see "That evening Sun" with Hal Holbrook - not a movie for everyone (probably too slow for my kids), but I enjoyed it. |

Thanks 1hp - I enjoyed Holbrook's performance in Into The Wild. I just put That Evening Sun saved on my netflix. |

I loved that movie. |
| As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good? | |

I happened to watch this on a plane recently. I unfortunately, do not have the same review. I did not really like it - probably because of some of the extreme graphics. Also, there was no character who I really liked in the movie. Generally, I like to have someone in a movie to like (or cheer for, etc.). In this movie, I did not find it. |
