HOLY CARP!!!
|
Denise has had a Wiki page for a long time now but it was terribly messy and not all the facts were correct. I wrote Wiki a couple of months ago and asked them to either clean it up or delete it. A very nice young man in Yorkshire, England wrote me back and he began the daunting task of bringing the article up to "Wikipedia standards" (encyclopedia standards). Meaning he had to re-write the entire article. He also had to research and cite sources. He spent quite some time on it and would write late at night emotionally distraught at times. He persevered with some help from others and I am so grateful. He did such a good job. We could never have done it. See it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Denise_Amber_Lee Hope all is well with everybody. It was pleasant to stop in and see Luke Dad's story. We are fine. Emotionally exhausted and spent. The legislation we have been working on looks as if it will definitely pass. We have another 9-1-1 convention next week fortunately in Orlando and not out of state. Just came back from Arkansas. Looks as if we are invited to Chicago this fall. Everybody now wants us talking to their state legislators. Nathan's trip to DC was awesome. Boys are good. Went to a memorial Wednesday night. That was heartbreaking. Noah was very serious about putting the rose on the wreath with the other crime victim's families. Adam is a hellion and just too darn cute for is own good:o) Take care, Peggy |

Don't you dare come to talk to the state legislature here in Columbus without letting me know you're coming! |

HOLY CARP!!!

Great news! |

Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool. I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss! - Cecil Lewis | |
