73".... And Petrof....I am a HUGE piano n00b. But one day I walked into a piano store and tried out pianos...I only knew like 3 brands (Steinway, Baldwin, Yamaha), but the Petrof stood head and shoulders in terms of quality and sound. I had never heard of the brand before, but absolutely loved it. |

That's a nice looking place! How cool to have a fireplace, working or not. It looks beautiful. And all the trim around the windows, that's a classy joint! I see one of your cats (is it George?) has got himself the best seat in the house. As it should be, of course.

Why, thank you! I like this place (I like old houses). That in indeed George. He must know I just mentioned him - he just joined me on the couch. And Martha! Anyway, yes, I like the trim as well. Thank the builders, I guess. It seems it was the height of fashion from about late Georgian - late Victorian times. I love the fireplace - especially because it burns coal, but it would be even cooler if it worked! Could have saved me about $200 this past winter!
