I was able to access the article. Interesting what you posted and what I posted today, jon. I hadn't read this thread when I posted about Worse than War. |

HOLY CARP!!!

Just who are you trying to attack with this piece, jon? Hannah Arendt? Raul Hilberg? Why did you post it?![]() Seriously, though, writers lifting material from one another with insufficient acknowledgment/attribution isn't all that uncommon, and would hardly be news by itself. What is it that you see in this piece, beyond just a story of one writer lifting material from another without proper attribution?

I thought it was interesting to read about Hilberg, I didn't know much about him, and confess I first heard about him reading Eichmann in Jerusalem |

A very interesting article. Makes me want to read The Destruction of the European Jews |

"Any man who would make an X rated movie should be forced to take his daughter to see it". - John Wayne There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it". Henry II: I marvel at you after all these years. Still like a democratic drawbridge: going down for everybody. Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore. From The Lion in Winter. | |

Yeah, me too. I remember thinking I should read it when I read Arendt, but I never got around to finding it. |
