Mortgage modification not looking so good

Cheers
This isn't surprising. Paulson talks about how they couldn't design a modification program to work well. As someone in Treasury put it, too many people aren't just in the wrong mortgage, they're in the wrong house.

I'm one of them. I appear to be paying Al Gores fuel bills, and all I ever see is a 1200 sq. foot duplex. It's like the Tardis, but in reverse.
What do you mean "we", have you got a mouse in your pocket?

HOLY CARP!!!
One thing I'd require would be for loan modification seekers to get out from under their car loans. Sell the car, buy something older so you have no payment.
