Jodi, just wonderful!

I especially like the first one, with the red door and red tulips.

You should post in the daily pics with dol and sue!

Like I said, only the porcupine eggs the dogs found today.
A lot of snow has melted, however.

Wow, what a glorious splash of colour! I was shocked at first, when I saw all those flowers on the street side of your fence, but then I remembered not everybody has to worry about deer munching all their pretty flowers. :lol2:

Really nice. :)

Jodi, you have a very green thumb! What a lovely yard. Your neighbors must enjoy your hard work. Those bulbs don't plant themselves, do they?

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
These little tiny white flowers that kind of cover the back yard more every year. They only last about a week then they're gone.

Actually, there is a deer family that naps in my yard at night. But I have somany tulips, that even when they munch, I still get blooms. (they really went after my roses a couple of weeks ago) I spray those stinky sprays (garlic and rotten eggs - its called repel-x) and that does the trick. It smells for about a day if you get close, but then you can't smell it any more. But the deer do, and they hate the stuff. This year I bought a spray that has rosemary and mint oil - so it's not a stinky to us - but I don't know if it will work as well for the deer.

Wow jodi. Just wow.

Your landscaping reminds me a lot of my parent's place. I always liked their landscaping, too. And I really do like your shed.

Apparently, one of my roommates likes to grow stuff. We have a garden back behind our place where he just planted seeds for tomatoes, peppers, spearmint, some weird pineapple mint stuff, parsley, basil, and half a dozen other things. The garden is not situated in an ideal spot but it's the best we could do. However, I have an idea on how to keep the soil from getting over-saturated during rainstorms so we'll see how things come together.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

Jodi, it's lovely. That thingy in the second picture that looks like a shovel handle with tines is scary. What the heck is it?

I am so not a gardener but I love looking at pretty landscaping.

How much $$ do you think it would cost to hire it done? :hair:

My sister said she and my BIL just planted 75 bulbs of various flowers this past weekend. I haven't, nor will I ever in my entire lifetime, plant 75 bulbs of anything.

:) that's awesome. Is there space to put some stuff in pots? I'm thinking things like patio tomatoes (I'd buy small plants from a local nursery though), so you can move them around to get the most sun.

I wish I lived closer, I've got way too many cucumber seedlings that need a good home.

Actually, yeah!

We don't have that big a space for the garden but one of my roommates just put together three long potting beds so that we can grow more stuff. They actually came out lookin' pretty good! Not sure what he's going to plant in them yet.
