HOLY CARP!!!

There would be a huge swing in my answers last year versus this year. Since I ventured un-confidentially into income issues earlier, I'll publicly say: last year = choice "A;" this year = choice "E." |

I'm still trying to figure out just how much of my income is anonymous. |

I don't know how much of mine is anonymous, but all of it is pathetic.

I guess I don't understand the question. Income is income regardless of how it's allocated. |

I think Riley is just asking how much money each person here made last year, if any. For me that was mainly just salary, although I guess others here would declare some investments and other income (aka whatever is declared on your individual tax return) This is compared to how much the total household income is, since we've had a few threads here lately talking about average individual salary vs average household salary. |

So the majority of people is in the $100K+ camp. Does this mean TNCR is richer than average? A pity the poll does not further differentiate this camp into 100K-200K, 200K-500K etc. |

Would not surprise me. TNCR has got a lot of smart, good-looking, and old people -- all three factors correlate positively with income. |

I know young people who make a lot of money too. But, statistically, old people make more money than young people. Got to separate anecdotes from statistics. |

Suppose you made $50000 per year, and Improv made $70000 per year. Your personal income would be $50000, household income $120000. |

(Just so there is no misunderstanding, the following is only meant in jest.) Riley, you may learn this at a later date. There is also a concept that goes like this: What's yours is mine, and what's mine is mine. It's sort of how my cats see the world. These things can happen.

Most people who peddle dope aren't very organised. They just show up at your house and kind of hang around eating munchies and go on and on and on about their way-out experiences. They're a bit of a pain in the arse, at least so I've heard. |

I know it sounds like someone is making a political point when she (usually a she) and her husband's income is earned by both of them, when she is, in fact, home with the kids. But I think this is true. At least often. After many years together, joint decisions and sacrifices, the income really is earned by two people, not one. |

I agree with you. Sometimes spouses even take turns in who will be the one at home tending the family and household. In our marriage, when one of us has the high stress time, the other cuts back at 'work' and picks up more of the load at home. We've traded back and forth on this over the years. It's true teamwork. |
