The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

You're a good dad. :)

Man those basketball shorts look goofy. Maybe one day they will go back to wearing things that look like they almost fit. Those baggy long shorts always look like a little kid wearing daddy's clothes. :P

Thanks, Sue. I've gotta say, I don't think the Globetrotters are as good today as the group from the 70's-80's. Luke seemed to think they were great though, so maybe it's that whole "grumpy old man" thing kicking in.

I remember watching Meadowlark Lemon and Curly Neal. Classic.

Crikey, I AM older than dirt.

I remember seeing them in the 70's and was impressed (and basketball bores me to tears). Clips I've seen since then don't seem to compare, but like you LD, I've always put that down to just old age and crankiness.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
You are but a junior member of the Older Than Dirt Club. I saw those guys in the 60's.

Alas, I think not. I was a teenager when I saw them. :)

In person, or on Wide World of Sports? They used to be on maybe once a year on WWoS, and I'm pretty sure the telecast was in B&W.

We may be in the same stratum of dirt, my friend.

Night #2 was a little more hectic as we had to save the world from an alien invasion. I couldn't take any pictures, though as my Four Arms Smashes and Swamp Fire Blasts required both hands. Needless to say that we were successful as none of you have been eaten or transported to the null-void.
