I went riding with Zack in Grand Teton Nat;l park a few hours ago...here's some photos. You can see there's still plenty of snow here.

I guess you could caption this one "Parenting FAIL" because it looks rather reckless.

Here's Zack ready to hit the road again.

Amazing pics, amazing scenery, amazing kid!

You must look forward to every minute of your day, FR.

Let us begin anew, remembering on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness.

ZOOOOOM!
That is so awesome. Zach's one seriously lucky kid.

Does his place on the bike mess with your steering at all?
I cite irreconcilable differences.

No..it messes with where my knees have to go to pedal properly. I pedal with my knees splayed out a bit and just poke along 5-10 mph most of the time. The cruiser style bars can hit me in the leg and "pin" a turn and I anticipate sharp turns by winging my knee all the way out so the bar end can pass it. It is also tricky getting on and off the bike because you have to swing your leg around back by the baskets.

It's a blast riding and having conversations with Zack.

What did you talk about with him today?
It's a back and forth thing. He mimics me sometimes and sometimes we play "I Spy" or just exclaim loudly when we see unusual things. The mountains are just incedible and the solitude is a vacuum. I feel like this place must be the polar opposite of something...what I'm not sure what.

So Zack will comment on following the yellow line on the road and I'll start weaving around and he'll giggle and I'll ask him what the mountains sound like and he says, "echo...echo...echo.." and then I start to get near the snowy edge of the road and the tires go crunch crunch across the thin skin of ice. Zack loves this. So it goes.

It's a lot of work to get ready for these excusions, but well worth it.

You will have to come to the Rockies in the spring. It is amazing.

+1. Thanks for the question, Brenda, and the answer, FR. :)
As a good person, I implore you to do as I, a good person, do. Be good. Do NOT be bad. If you see bad, end bad. End it in yourself, and end it in others. By any means necessary, the good must conquer the bad. Good people know this. Do you know this? Are you good?
