Aaron can go home. Katie did a nice version of an amazing song. She'll stay. Andrew can go home. He can't pick a song. Michael did an OK version of ER, but sounded sort of like a mid 70s George Benson type cover -- The Other Side of Abbey Road came to mind. Crystal “Come Together” -- bad song choice. I was hoping she'd do a sort of Joe Cocker "Little Help". But she can sing anything. The digereedoo didn't help. Tim -- great song choice for his happy go lucky personality. He's no idol, but he has a career. Casey rocked it. Best of Show. The cello was a great touch. Siobhan -- bad song choice, beautiful voice but the accompaniment and the weird get up didn't work. Lee -- he finally busted out from the beginning. I don't think it quite worked trying to get everyone to sing along (the audience did not look like they were singing), and the bagpiper was sort of scene stealing, but memorable. I am guessing Aaron, Andrew and Siobhan in the bottom three with Andrew going home. |

"Any man who would make an X rated movie should be forced to take his daughter to see it". - John Wayne There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it". Henry II: I marvel at you after all these years. Still like a democratic drawbridge: going down for everybody. Eleanor: At my age there's not much traffic anymore. From The Lion in Winter. | |

We have tickets for the results show tonight, but youngest daughter announced last night that she has a big Chem test thursday so we can't go. Oh well, at least she's making good decisions. Rhianna is the guest performer tonight.
