Daylight savings time. Reset all the dang appliance clocks.

OK, so it's not the first. It has been a long winter in the northeast, and I'm overjoyed to see the back of winter broken. I'm sure we'll see some more snow, but not the week after week with snow on the ground. It's been very nice to see what my new back yard actually looks like.

Got a 2010 sign of spring story?

The osprey are showing up around the Chesapeake Bay. That's usually the first sign Spring is around the corner on the east coast.

I'd completely forgotten about the need to reset the clocks ... until I looked at my computer and thought to myself, "wow, have I been up for two hours ALREADY?"

And then realized, "no, dumbass, the computer is smarter than you are, it's already changed the time."

This is mine, and it's fresh; just minutes old. :D

Thank goodness for wet Swiffers.

Yep, Patty, we have the muddy pawprints all over too.

Quirt, I had the exact reverse experience since I use my Blackberry as my bedside clock up here. I wondered why the other apartment clocks were all in sync and my dang phone plan couldn't get it together to spring back.

Oh, wait....

Yes, the driveway has a deep muddy rut where we need some more crushed rock. ;)

Just bust up some TNCR heads.

I would have thought signs of spring more interesting than the details of 30 year old molestations, but c'est la vie.

It isn't really spring until the miniskirts come out of hibernation.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

Out this way it's when you hear the first Robin sing. I don't expect that until after Easter around mid April at the earliest. This year though...it's unususally mild...maybe spring will come sooner.

The robins have been singing here for couple weeks now. Wonderful in the morning.
