For Verizon, which brand/model do you recommend. Nothing real fancy: just phone, camera, speakerphone, and can use an old-fashioned ear piece (not bluetooth).

Thanks!

Anything Nokia, preferably brick-style (no flip phone).

Of course, I don't know if Verizon uses Nokia, but if they do.. ..

HOLY CARP!!!
I have Verizon and checked the website. Both the LG Accolade and Nokia 2705 Shade are rated at 4.5 out of 5 stars. The former is free with a 2 year sign up. I had Motorola KRZR and liked it. Now I have an LG slider phone, which is just okay (hard to slide open, even with two hands, sometimes). My wife refuses to give up her old pink Motorola Razor, even though it's about four years old now.

The founding of the bulk of the world's nation states post 1914 is based on self-defined nationalisms. The bulk of those national movements involve territory that was ethnically mixed. The foundation of many of those nation states involved population movements in the aftermath. When the only one that is repeatedly held up as unjust and unjustifiable is the Zionist project, the term anti-semitism may very well be appropriate. - P*D

Rachel liked her razor, would still have it but for the iPhone.
In my defense, I was left unsupervised.

We're looking at iPhones for Janet. She really wants one. Almost bit on it Sunday, but neither of us liked the salesperson. His background was very clearly car sales.

Yep. My contract has been up for about 6 months, and I can get a free upgrade. All I need is a phone, since it sits in my car, so why upgrade?

Nothing is as effective as homeopathy.

I'd rather listen to an hour of Abba than an hour of The Beatles.

Because it's free man! Sell the old one! I sold my last two free phones (two years old) for $50.

When I get around to it, I am going to sell two Motorola KRZR phones on craigslist (mine was free under the "new every two years" plan and the other was my daughter's, but cost $50 under the same plan, just because it has a red case. My silver KRZR works just fine and is about three years old. The other red one is only two years old but doesn't work. It is now a repository for a battery that has never been used. I just keep it charged. It was my daughter's phone and just after I ordered replacement batteries for both phones, the daughter's phone itself died.
