Senior Carp
|
I finally watched it. I bought the DVD it seems like 2 years ago but never watched it. Part of me was afraid to for fear that it would be really sad. Well, I ended up crying much of the last 20 minutes of it, but it does have a very sweet ending. What a lovely, beautiful film and Mark Bittner is a beautiful person. It's still not clear to me what he survives on! Thanks for the recommendation, kathyk. |

HOLY CARP!!!

Bernard, thanks for mentioning it. When I saw your thread I remembered I wanted to see it, and Netflix had it as an instant stream. Just finished. Very moving for bird lovers. Puppy sat with me and we watched it together. ![]() We have large flocks that look, and sound, just like this here in our city. |

I Owe It All To John D'Oh

I've seen the flock in San Francisco, live, several times. It's interesting. |

There are lots and lots of wild parrots in So Cal. Don't know about San Francisco. |

Florida has a bunch as well. They don't do so well in the northern latitudes but some manage to survive. |

"Any man who would make an X rated movie should be forced to take his daughter to see it". - John Wayne There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".
