Rare praise from Ms. Huffington. |
|
The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy | |

Wow, a Daily Kos poll.

| The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it. | |

Strictly speaking, this thread should be 'What the Daily Kos believes Republican Voters Believe' - hence we're two degrees in, in the game of 'How many degrees of separation are you from being put in the rubber room with the lab coat that fastens at the back, Napoleon?'. |

Having the Puffington Host cite a poll taken by the Daily Kos to tell us what Republicans think is like having a catfish describe tanning beds. |

Several people here believe Obama is a socialist. A few have described doubts about his citizenship. A couple have called him a racist, outright. Several have claimed that he must want the terrorists to win. Based solely on TNCR, it sounds as if the poll is quite accurate.

Tanning beds aside, I would say that's a pretty accurate description of some the vacuous hyperbole bandied about here on occasion. |

Hell, the majority of the democrat party is Socialist.
I've seen no one here doubt his citizenship. I've seen several who were of the opinion that he's trying to hide something, and I'm one of them.
And what else would you call a man who constantly plays the race card?
Perhaps it isn't that he *wants* them to win, but perhaps it's just that he is such an ideologue, so naive, and so brainwashed by his Marxist training that he just ends up helping them out of stupidity. |

Well, then at least give the unwashed a hint what he's trying hide? As it stands it seems to come across as his place of birth. |

That he is hiding something isn't in question, based on the evidence. Maybe he just doesn't want us to know about his days on welfare and trust funds... |

from "Large Portion Of GOP Thinks Obama Is Racist, Socialist, Non-U.S. Citizen: Poll" to Quirt's "several" and "a few" and "a couple".... And a number of the conservatives here are not even GOP. Now we all better understand how Quirt interprets data to determine what is "quite accurate".

No John. In the US you get to register independent and you get to self define your politics, and no bloody Brit gets to define how you consider yourself. |

Near as I can figure Obama wants to keep the speculation alive in order to keep the truthers in the forefront as much as possible. Kind of like the Iraq war and Bush telling the enemy combatants to "bring it on". |
