Years ago, it was an everyday event to see a freight train with passenger cars coupled at the rear. I realize that trains nowadays couldn't stop at every small town, but if one could buy a day car seat between two major cities less than 500 miles apart for less than what Greyhound charges, would it be a profitable for the railroads? |
