Sigh. I've given up trying to avoid foods that will kill me, because I would starve to death if I did so.

Let us begin anew, remembering on both sides that civility is not a sign of weakness.

Ayup...
The problem with having an open mind is that people keep trying to put things in it.

Why is it Europeans very opposed to genetically-modified crops while Americans mostly don't care?

Do they get different news?

I wouldn't say Europeans are VERY opposed. Perhaps just more outspoken as a continent than America.
And how are you today?

And yet, otoh, Americans are far more conservative regarding genetic experimentation and research...

Geez, Kenny. I think you're taking her post in the wrong spirit.

Insignificant? Kenny, she's disagreeing with your assertion that Europeans are very concerned over GM foods. It seems like her opinion (IMO) is that in general, most Europeans aren't that concerned about GM foods, except for a small vocal minority. That's not an insignificant point, and is undeserving of your getting defensive over.

Pick away at my posts, folks. I'm just happy you read them at all.

Brenda = happy to be here with such a great group.

Although you can expect me to tease you in return, of course. Fair game, fair play, etc.

Actually, the more significant question here is this: what the hell is lb doing reading the Huffington Post? :hair:

They don't care what gets shoved into their kids mouth, anything to shut them up.

Actually, I read it on another site, I didn't realize it was the Huffypoo until I read it. Huffypoo is a little slow with this one, I had read it somewhere about a week ago.
