HOLY CARP!!!
I want to be able to record myself on the piano in preparation for recitals and such. I want to hear what my finished pieces sound like and I want to record the opposite parts of a duet to practice.

I recall many of you like the Zoom product.

Should the H2 meet my needs?

What is a reputable Web site to order from?

Other advice?

Thx.

I swear by the H2. I've done literally thousands of hours of recording with it. It's been awhile, but Amazon had the best price last time I checked.

[edit] Amazon; $145.48. There are a couple of others down around there, but with free Super Saver shipping, Amazon's probably got them beat.

May have to try one. My current recorder makes my cello sound like a trombone.

hmmmm.... what if it sounds like a trombone with a new recorder?

Another vote for the Zoom H2.
I'm very happy with mine.

Thanks all.

Chas, my bass notes on my piano sound like a blurting tuba on my voice recorder. It makes me laugh.
