I'll always associate the Costner Robin Hood with that lame Bryan Adams song.

Is there a Bryan Adams song that isn't lame?

"Now, now, the Canadian government has apologized for Bryan Adams on several occasions."
Civilisation, I vaguely realized then - and subsequent observation has confirmed the view - could not progress that way. It must have a greater guiding principle to survive. To treat it as a carcase off which each man tears as much as he can for himself, is to stand convicted a brute, fit for nothing better than a jungle existence, which is a death-struggle, leading nowhither. I did not believe that was the human destiny, for Man individually was sane and reasonable, only collectively a fool.

I hope the gunner of that Hun two-seater shot him clean, bullet to heart, and that his plane, on fire, fell like a meteor through the sky he loved. Since he had to end, I hope he ended so. But, oh, the waste! The loss!

Dazed and confused seems to be a Costner trademark.

There is a line we cross when we go from "I will believe it when I see it" to "I will see it when I believe it".

Gotta be better than Costner! :lol2:
No way dood.

Costner is a mediocre actor at best but that was one of his good ones. Maybe the best.
Costner is VERY hit or miss. Robin Hood was one of his best ones...great movie. Great soundtrack too.

Mebbe I'll have to see Robin Hood again (or for the first time, not sure if I saw it or not). I liked Waterworld and The Postman.
Kincaid - disgusted Republican Partisan since 2006.

Tron sequal!
Woot! :woot:

I think they should also make another Indiana Jones movie, another Alien movie, another Terminator movie, and another redigitized re-release of re-CGI'ed versions of the Star Wars double trilogies.

Costner is not mediocre, he doesn't even strive for mediocrity.
