I wish you'd post your photos here more often.

Awesome pics, Kenny. You should start marketing them on the side.

HOLY CARP!!!
Scoutie is such a butthead. (butt I love her  )
It is a charity project by a group of diamond lovers.
She suggested a charity like "Diamonds for homeless people" or something. :lol2:
I was thinking of "Diamonds for Blood Diamond widows".

I'm so bad.

Wow. Nice job.

There are diamond lovers?

What precedes that?

Platinum lovers? Gold, then silver? Where do you start? Pewter?

And how does one achieve a higher ranking? Is there an applicaion process?

I guess congrats on both the photos and your affiliation with the diamond lovers. :silly:

It sounded like you sure knew what you were talking about last week in that thread about camera lenses.

 I'll say!

Beautiful photos.

What's wrong with you?
Never seen this before?

Silly me.

I thought it was a diamond in a clothespin with some rice.

Thanks!

These are not my rocks.
They belong to couple of fellow diamond geeks.
I took the pic in a restaurant using a wine glass as a tripod and set the rings on sugar packets in a sugar packet holder on top of a glass of water. (No tripod, and only dull available light required a several second exposure DON'T TOUCH THE TABLE LADIES! )

Nice close up work, Kenny. Are you using macro extenders of some sort?

HOLY CARP!!!
Yup, bellow's extension, one extension ring and a 105mm f/2.8 lens.

BTW 89 I forgot to mention, extension rings are handy, cheaper than bellows and stackable.

HOLY CARP!!!
Two rejects.
The first is a superbly yet conventionally cut round diamond. Note the 8 arrows.
Next is a superbly but unconventionally cut diamond with 10 arrows (or sections).
