Courage and Consequence: My Life as a Conservative in the Fight

This has nothing to do with anything but I'm really freaking sick of seeing the "Short Play on Words: Summary of Book" title format for political books and memoirs. I mean seriously. We have more than enough of that going on.

When Everything Changed: The Amazing Journey of American Women from 1960 to the Present
Read My Pins: Stories from a Diplomat's Jewel Box
Half the Sky: Turning Oppression into Opportunity for Women Worldwide
Climate Cover-Up: The Crusade to Deny Global Warming
The Audacity to Win: The Inside Story and Lessons of Barack Obama's Historic Victory
Where Men Win Glory: The Odyssey of Pat Tillman
How Markets Fail: The Logic of Economic Calamities
Mountains beyond Mountains: The Quest of Dr. Paul Farmer, A Man Who Would Cure the World
Going Rogue: An American Life
Arguing with Idiots: How to Stop Small Minds and Big Government
The Dollar Meltdown: Surviving the Impending Currency Crisis with Gold, Oil, and Other Unconventional Investments

Ron Paul gets props for his recent book End the Fed. It's not "End the Fed: The Untold Story of The End of the Fed" or some other such bullsh!t, it's just "End the Fed." Short, sweet, to the point, not depressingly typical.
I cite irreconcilable differences.

If you want trouble, find yourself a redhead
Wouldn't sell many of those, I'd wager. Puffery sells.

It isn't just political auto/biography, Aqua. It's the majority of books I've seen recently, and I'm with you, it gets old.

"Never waste your time trying to explain yourself to people who are committed to misunderstanding you." - Anonymous

I'll answer your other comments later, but my primary priority for the rest of the evening is to get drunk." - Klaus, 12/31/14
