At least she's an equal opportunity smear-queen. One thing I've really noticed is how much more critical Dems are of Obama than Reps ever were of Bush. I think I sort of like that stand by your man mentality of the Reps. I think the Dems could stand to learn to take that tack every now and then. |

Identifying narcissists isn't difficult. Just look for the person who is constantly fishing for compliments and admiration while breaking down over even the slightest bit of criticism. We have the freedom to choose our actions, but we do not get to choose our consequences.

Nope - Dems are just much more apt to be critical of their own - sometimes a good thing and sometimes bad. |

That's a loooong time to keep the No terrorist attack on American soil streak going. Hope he's up to it. He dodged a bullet this time. |

The Confederate soldier was peculiar in that he was ever ready to fight, but never ready to submit to the routine duty and discipline of the camp or the march. The soldiers were determined to be soldiers after their own notions, and do their duty, for the love of it, as they thought best. Carlton McCarthy

Maybe that's the benchmark you measure a President against. If so, Bush failed. Personally, I don't think that's the right benchmark. A determined terrorist can always manage to do something on U.S. soil, even if it's only blowing up a Starbucks or a mailbox. At a minimum, even if your benchmark is domestic safety from terrorist attacks, you have to have some sort of subjectivity ... what kind of attack, whether it was preventable somehow, etc. But, really, I'm not worried. If Obama kept us completely safe for four years, you'd find something else to criticize him for, and you'd move the goalposts.

Bush experienced the snipers and the shoe bomber. There's a war on, and it doesn't surprise me they would try again. I don't know that it has anything to do with Obama.
