Today's college cheerleaders have more in common with gymnasts than with the cheerleaders of thirty years ago. For the females, it helps to be short and powerful. |

If I had been at the Sugar Bowl last night I would have ended up watching the cheerleaders more than the game by the 2nd quarter. Sad performance by the Bearcats. Totally outplayed and outmatched. The new coach, Butch Jones, has a lot of work to do in order to improve the defense and recruit bigger O-linemen. Oh well, at least the Buckeyes won!! Go Bengals! I want to see at least 1 win in the playoffs! |

I think they need to build up some momentum first. A big win in NY would help them set the stage. |

Agreed, I hope Marvin Lewis leaves his starters in the whole game, especially if it's close. I still can't believe what the Colts did last Sunday. Gave away a chance to go undefeated, win the Super Bowl, then become the team other than the '72 Dolphins to accomplish such a rare feat. After all, I bet many fans can't name most of the Super Bowl winners (unless you are a Steeler's fan!), but most fans instantly know what the '72 Dolphins accomplished. |

The secret is to find a smaller state school that still offers the major you want. Reasoning: 1. High profile schools like LSU turn people away from their cheerleading squads. With smaller, less high profile schools, chances are better to make the squad. 2. The smaller schools tend to award bigger scholarships. 3. Smaller schools don't travel as much, and when they do, trips usually aren't as far. Less time in the plane or on the bus equates to more available time in the dorm or apartment. That equates to more quality study time available. |
